Akin- Editorial For GangUp

Shot two Editorials on Sunday for GangUP, this is the second and features the amazing Akin, who I have wanted to shoot for months, but he has been hanging out in New York, now he’s back in the UK. I think you may see more of him soon. The super hot girl who somehow stumbled into shot is Lydia. I posted a Polaroid of her yesterday.

So this is nearly it, I got one more editorial to go for GangUp then I am wrapped.

this is Eleni shooting at the fairground when it rolled into Brighton last year. I think i was there lending her a flash or something and snapped this quick shot.

Every man and his dog turned up to shoot here, but only a few people nailed it, Eleni was one of them of course… Cos she is a wunderkind…

Here is a set of Disposables from the Dolley editorial I made for ‘Gang Up - The Issue’. I planned to use these for the mag but for some reason or another I decided against it. I think it’s kinda nice to have these aswell, like a second version of the whole shoot..

I shot this on Weds- in the middle of a freezing, ‘see your breath’ cold afternoon. Sometimes I cant believe what we are able to get these amazing models to do- maybe it helps that most of them are friends of ours. But this time we really worked Vic hard- I could see her anger at me by the end of it…. But she worked soo hard and she looks absolutely stunning- I mean incredible. I did buy her a lot of beers afterwards tho, so I hope shes all good with me now….

Not only does Sam bang out amazing shoots for GangUp, he also designs it all as well. Plus ladies love him more than they love shoes- its sickening. So click the pic and go check out his work…

He also happened to witness my drunken state last night, which I have to say was a blast, much good advice, too much beer, loads of boobs, and me muggin for far too many pictures… but hey we all need to cut loose sometimes. When Eleni gets her shots back I’ll post the least embarrassing ones….

STOP THE PRESS—- GANG UP ANNOUNCEMENT…

ISSUE 2 IS ON THE WAY- EDITORIALS ARE BEING SHOT.

But if you have emailed us about contributions, or model agencies wanting to supply models, or PR companies wanting to rep us, then we have to apologise and let you know that we just didn’t get notified about the mails. The person dealing with all Production issues stopped checking the mail in October 2009. Sorry that this happened and we will be getting back to you all within the next day or so…

We are now back on track and have a new contact person and things will be running smoothly soon. Look out for Issue Two which is due out end of March.

Another sneak preview for Issue Two. Eleni just came in and dropped of the Polaroids and Prints from here Girls,Guns,Furs and Barbours shoot from the weekend. I can say without a doubt its the best series in Issue2 so far. It has everything, I mean look at this, its almost perfect and its just an outtake. You better get ready, its been a wait, but this Issue is going to put all other mags out of business. This is serious now.
